About

Hello and welcome to the mind guide!

I am a practicing therapist based in Dublin. I trained and studied in the UK and upon my return to Ireland; I was stunned by the lack of accessible mental health services.  As a result of this, I decided to create this blog in the hope it might help those of you in need of some guidance.

The main issue I come across again and again in my work is anxiety.  And if you are one of the many, many people who experience this please rest assured; you are not alone and you can help yourself.  This blog is primarily about this issue, but I would encourage you to visit a therapist if you are not already doing so. Or if that’s not a possibility for you right now, its a good idea to find out what help is out there. This could include things like mindfulness practice, meditation, yoga or even reading up on the topic.

That said, my hope is that this will be an accessible and useful resource for anyone experiencing any kind of emotional discomfort, be it anxiety, depression, relationship issues or otherwise.  The idea is not that this blog is limited to one type of experience, but rather that it can be accessed for a plethora of reasons whatever they may be.

So, without further ado, I present to you the mind guide and hope that it can provide you with some helpful resources and useful insight into managing your mental health.
